  Status Quo Summer 2012 They’ve been Rockin’ All Over The World, and now Status Quo will be playing in the Highlands next August.They join Runrig and Jools Holland, who are both also performing shows at the Northern Meeting Park in Inverness.The Quo will be performing on Friday 24th August, while Runrig are on on Saturday 25th August, and Jools Holland & his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra on Sunday 26th August.The band’s Francis Rossi said "We're really excited to be performing in Inverness.

  RunrigCELTIC rockers Runrig will perform in Inverness next summer.The concert at the Northern Meeting Park on Saturday 25th August is the band’s only outdoor Scottish date next year.It will also be Runrig’s first concert in Scotland in almost two years, having had an 18-month break from the touring circuit.Promoters CK Events are urging people to buy tickets early to avoid disappointment as the concert will have limited capacity of 7500 people."We are delighted to be bringing Runrig back to Scotland after a two year absence," said Kenny Cameron, of CK Events.
