This is THE place to try in Inverness for anyone who likes books and / or a great bistro-style cafe with home cooking and an open fire!

The cafe also has changing exhibitions of local art.

Browse, read, drink coffee, lunch with friends... nobody bothers you, no canned music, no hype, no gimmicks, no hassle. Come in, relax, forget to come out again.

The 'shop' is actually a church - the huge old Gaelic Church at the end of Church Street, one street back from the river, about 5 - 6 minutes walk from the Castle and Tourist Info. The cafe is on a mezzanine floor. Prices in both are very reasonable.
