First WorldHost Training to be held in the Highlands

Business Gateway, in partnership with the Tourism Excellence Consultancy are pleased to offer you the opportunity to take advantage of the first WorldHost Training to be held in the Highlands. And what’s more, it is FREE ( normal fee is £60 per person)
The WorldHost training programmes were originally developed in Canada for the Winter Olympics and have now been brought to the UK by People 1st to ensure a World Class Welcome to every visitor to the UK.
The Barclays Scottish Open has become an iconic golf tournament for both Scotland and the international golfing calendar. For 2011 the tournament has moved to the stunning and challenging Highland links course, Castle Stuart, overlooking the Moray Firth in Inverness Scotland and this provides an opportunity for every service provider in the area to really shine through providing extraordinary and memorable service. It’s well understood that visitors who feel cared for spend more and generate more profit for your business
During the workshop you will:
Gain information and insight to support your business to exceed visitor expectations during the time of the Barclays Open golf tournament and beyond
Help you realise how powerful your connection can be with visitors
Understand how your interaction will remain as a lasting impression
Build on your current strengths as a representative of your business and area
Understand better how to exploit to opportunities being presented by the Barclays Scottish Open
The programme is aimed at anyone who is in the front line of service with customers and visitors whether that be accommodation, eating out, outdoor activities, leisure, transport or any other services
