Advocacy

We are continuously working on different initiatives to represent the interests of Inverness BID members:

• The most important of these is the City Centre Development Brief, which we developing in partnership with the Highland Council. This is probably the most significant initiative for BID as it encourages regeneration of certain areas of the City Centre, as well as the development of quality tourism facilities, dedicated office space in the City Centre and dissuades against out of town development which all too often can draw footfall away from the City Centre.

• As well as this we are currently working to improve dedicated coach drop off points, which again would bring important tourist trade into the Business District.
