The search is on to recognise those businesses that are going the extra mile to make the city centre the place to be - for everyone living, working and visiting the area. Inverness Business Improvement District (BID) in conjunction with the Inverness Courier is spearheading an enterprising initiative to celebrate our city centre businesses in its first ever business awards. The awards are designed to recognise businesses for their tireless efforts that often go unrewarded.
The ninth Inverness Classic Vehicle Show takes place on Saturday 13th May 2017.As in the past the event is FREE and a variety of vehicles from all eras will be on display at the following city centre venues:

Inverness BID are once again pleased to announce that the BID Task Team and weekend Taxi Marshall Service will commence operations from Saturday 19th November 2016 and will operate throughout the run up to Christmas and over the Festive Season until Tuesday 3rd January 2017.The BID Task Team will be on duty on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th from 1100hrs – 1800hrs and thereafter during the same times every weekday (except Sunday) from Thursday 24th through to Tuesday 3rd January

The BID Staff and BID Board of Directors made a presentation to Malcolm Raeburn on Monday 24th October who leaves after 6 years service as BID Community Safety Manager. Malcolm's professionalism and approach has been well respected within all sectors of our business community and BID would like to wish him 'bon voyage' on his move south.As Malcolm's replacement John McDonald joined the BID team last Friday.
